About the Role
BrightPath is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance to lead and strengthen compliance, quality, and training across our 245D service lines. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring we remain audit-ready, compliant, and consistently delivering high-quality, person-centered services.
You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for DHS licensing, audits, and investigations, while building systems that proactively identify risk, drive accountability, and improve performance across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Lead Compliance & Regulatory Strategy
- Own organization-wide compliance across all 245D and DHS/MDH regulations
- Act as the main contact for audits, licensing, and investigations
- Lead internal audits and ensure continuous audit readiness
- Interpret regulatory changes and implement them across teams
Drive Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Build and maintain quality assurance (QA) systems to identify risks and trends
- Lead a continuous quality improvement (CQI) approach using data and feedback
- Establish and track compliance metrics and performance outcomes
Oversee Corrective Action & Accountability
- Own and execute corrective action plans from audits or findings
- Partner with leadership to address gaps and enforce accountability
- Monitor results and ensure long-term improvements
Strengthen Training & Implementation
- Align compliance training with regulatory and operational needs
- Identify training gaps and deploy targeted solutions
- Partner with training leaders to improve staff performance
Manage Risk & Program Integrity
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and billing integrity
- Oversee incident reporting and maltreatment response processes
- Identify compliance risks and implement preventative strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of 245D regulations and DHS compliance requirements
- Experience leading audits, compliance programs, or quality initiatives
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence across departments
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Clear communicator who can translate complex regulations into action
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hybrid role with flexibility for after-hours needs
- Travel required to program sites throughout the Twin Cities
